Description du poste

We are looking for a passionate Associate Software Engineer to strengthen our Product Engineering team. You will be working together in building scalable and performing web applications to facilitate our Web Experience domains. This entry-level position offers the chance to work with the more experienced engineers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and all other different team members and helps to implement features that are user-focused while constantly learning and improving technical capabilities. Design and implement features while complying with the technical standards and quality expectations of the team. This role is a good one to gain experience on how to deal with front-end experiences and back-end technologies in the collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate within your product teams to develop sustainable, performant, and well-designed products that meet RB Global’s technical standards.
• Be part of the activities for both front-end feature development and back-end feature development.
• Learn and practice the development best practices, including coding standards and design patterns.
• Assist with technical scalability, performance, and integration challenges for projects.
• Participate in team discussions to help make improving processes and active contributions to knowledge sharing possible.
• Continually learn from the seniors on the team to improve capability and gain exposure to new learning in the software development world.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Other Related Fields.
• 1-2 years of work experience in web development, probably focused on front-end or back-end technology.
• Basic skills in React or any JavaScript frameworks meant for front-end development along with good programming knowledge.
• Any knowledge about the Spring Boot or similar frameworks used to create back-end services.
• Understanding of best practices in software development and coding standards.
• Working knowledge of version control tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Very strong problem-solving skills combined with a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
• The ability to work well within both collaborative and remote, cross-functional team environments.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to ask questions and just learn from feedback.
